Top 5 people I would ask to model
Sep. 25th, 2007 | 12:50 am

In a chat with an online buddy (yes I have an online buddy now, surprise) while talking about photography, he asked me if I'm taking classes regarding this, I quickly said no of course, but then I kinda liked the idea of models and working with them. in connection with this chat that made my interest with it stronger than before, I stumbled to this wonderful self taught photographer and how she shoot these women (and herself) so beautiful.
If I come back to taking pictures and grasp what is needed, I would like to ask these people to work with me for a few shots (oist walang hiritan!) - and I have to first work on these women as I've seen (or felt) that the camera will love them. People I know of course (not in order)
1. karen D.
2. joie C.
3. amanda N.
4. leila H.
5. and lastly rhen V.

Before going to sleep

hmm...wait I'll check for google the real definition...alright I think I have the right term.
define:nomad
someone who does not lead a settled life but moves from place to place, usually seeking pasture for herds of grazing animals.
Let's not get too literal, let's think the term nomad when it comes to personality and skills. You see, I'm never contented with what I have right now so I move to the next big thing or maybe things that will interest me. is this the right thing to do? Well it comes to a certain point it can either become a advantage or a disadvantage. The advantage is that you get to learn a lot of thing, do a lot of stuff. The disadvantage: you started to get greedy that you want to take it all for yourself. I got bored with illustrations, I jump to photography. My mouth got tired of eating pork, I then settled with chicken. I It's a never ending cycle of the what-I-want that I realize what is it that I really want. It's the turning point of your life that you have to split it, decide what you really want and continue. This is where change enters your life. This is the time where nomads like me gets settled in one place and try to well...contented with what I have.
But what if my animals died out of boredom or me being restless with those dumb animals (or think of the possibility I ate them out of frustration/hunger) should I stay or should I seek out of greener pastures? What is the best thing you could think of?

Light it up and feel evil inside
I would like to touch raindrops in my rough hand
Feel it's impossible texture with my fingertips

flipping through my scratch notebook, I found doodles of a monster/person/thing peeping --- I just remembered the monster was another character I'm planning for the comic strip way back --- so hey might as well give this monster a chance to shows it's ugly blue hair and eyebrows.

Now I do remember piano is what I always wanted to learn besides the violin. Maybe if i lived in Manila when I was young I might have grasped the keys as easily as I worked on a knife in the kitchen. The piano will give me an access to release the tension, anger and stress as I got older and realizing there are times I really can't share everything to anyone except myself and the piano. right then and there I would answer my own questions and feel that my emotional wounds are closing. and possibly be happy that I managed to live one more day and would be expecting the next as I finished the whole song. maybe just maybe...
hmp. it's obvious I did not end up with a piano --- i went on with mp3s to keep piano songs to accompany me in my moment of letting things go. there are times I'm disappointed to myself that I did not learn how to play the piano --- that I did not let my fingers touch the keys and tell the whole world (or the room where the piano's at) what I really think. That I have to depend on someone to do something I cannot do to feel comfort.
...
I think I'll sleep and continue on dreaming...
